Well, its been a while and here is what we have been up to for the last quarter of 2025 !
We attempted to have a Halloween party at the request of one of the YA. Well, that YA did not come but we were entertained by a group of "new" friends from India and a few from China. It made for an interesting night, as trying to play games like Pictionary is more difficult with multi cultures, languages and word comprehension!
We hear we have the strongest attended institute classes in our stake and possibly the mission. We currently have a baptism in Feb from a young lady who has started to attend institute with her member boyfriend and started taking the lessons !
 |
| Our new convert Zac was the only one who came dressed up - bless him ! |
We were also able to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day or Bon Fire night - it is a day to celebrate the failure of Guy Fawkes trying to blow up the Parliament in the year 1605 !
November also brought the arrival of our newest grandbaby - Theo ! He is the perfect blend of Max and Hannah and we can not wait to get back and meet grandbaby #8 !
We had a fun Thanksgiving lunch with our Aberystwyth district ! I think it was only the 3rd or 4th time I've ever cooked a full turkey in my life !

| Sis Higley from Hooper, Ut |
We were also able to attend our last Sr Couple Retreat in the Bath area of England.
This retreat was to celebrate thanksgiving and then to enjoy the Bath Christmas Markets the next day

To start of the month, our branch made toiletry bags for a local homeless shelter
We had our Christmas Zone conference down in Bristol- it takes us about 3.5-4 hours to get to Zone conference ! They had a couple of hours of instruction, played a round of scripture chase, did a white elephant exchange & then had lunch for all of us.
